My name is Tim Roberson, and I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee. My research is in the intersection of energy and environmental economics and public policy, mostly but not always in electricity markets.
I also enjoy teaching, and will be lecturing in environmental economics in Spring 2022 at The University Tennessee
My work at the Baker Center involves studying how electric utilities will respond to the spread of new renewable energy, and modeling how the consequences of the energy transition will be felt by different consumers.
Before joining the Baker Center, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a PhD in Economics in the Spring of 2020.
